Robbe 1:40 Scale S-100 Type (converted) I have built an original of this kit. Lacks detail as well as sharp edges for the armourd bridge. The boat illistrated is S-155 of the S-151 class. From the bridge house to the stern scratch built. The hull was also shortened 2" to make it 1:32 scale. These boats were smaller than other types. The hardware is metric with replacement being difficult to obtain. |

Microglass 1:35 scale S-100 Type This hull and armored bridge are excellent!! Nothing else comes with the kit, so be ready for a lot of scratchbuilding. This one I made RC, it works great! Why one prop? I like long running times and to keep it light. My advice in building any RC Schnellboot is light, light, light. That way you get that great effect of the boat liftting out of the water. My Model represents a boat from the 5 Schnellbootsflottille S-100 Type |

Azimut 1:32 scale S-100 Type (No longer in production). I originally bought this model to make RC. I soon realized due to the extreme wieght of the resin deck and parts, this would never work. Overall it is a nice kit. Strangely they opted out of making the 20mm bow gun and provide the normal cover for it (as seen when in dock). I had anger away quite a bit of resin, especially the bow section and the kit was still very heavy. No stand is provided. My model was made to represent S-168 a boat that saw action in the English Channel. |

Italeri 1:35 Scale S-100 Type An Excellent kit, seeing that I had an S-100 class boat already in 1:32 scale. I decided to convert this one to a 1:32 scale (roughly) S-30 Type. This boat is under construction for RC and wont be finished until spring of 2010. Please note for the idiots who think S-100 class boats served served in the Meditarian. They did not Read!!! |
